About the event

Many people are becoming aware of the benefits of having a neurodiverse workforce. But what exactly is neurodiversity? What benefits can having a neurodiverse team bring to a creative endeavour? What are the typical difficulties experienced by neurodivergent people?

This short, 1-hour session, run by CULT Cymru, will provide people working in the creative industries with an introduction to the subject.

Session outline

By the end of the session participants should be able to:

  • Define the term ‘neurodiversity’
  • Describe the value and benefits of a having a neurodiverse workforce
  • Explain how the 2010 Equality Act is related to neurodiversity
  • Identify examples of reasonable adjustments that can be put in place to support neurodivergent people
