Scrutineer’s Report: Committee Elections 2026-2027

These are the results of the Executive and Regional Committee elections 2026-2027, as provided by UK Engage, the independent scrutineer.

Following the outcome of the ballot there were five seats on Regional Committees where the successful candidate had also been successful in the EC ballot. Since MU rules don’t allow a member to sit on both the EC and RC, those RC spaces are now vacant either for a full two-year term (two seats), or for the remainder of the term (three seats), as applicable. Regional Committees can decide to co-opt members to those vacant seats if they choose in this instance since there were no highest placed candidates in a ballot in those affected regions that would otherwise take the seat.
