Members’ Discount For Two Week Course on Teaching Music Online

Music:Ed is offering its readers, which include Musicians’ Union members a 25% discount on its latest training course for music teachers moving over to online lessons.

The course run by Musitex, Teaching Music Online, will guide students through the process of developing a complete curriculum unit with lesson plans and materials for online delivery.

Here are the key benefits of signing up:

The course will cover the best methodologies and tools for online learning, aligning outcomes, activities and assessment methods, delivery methods and more.
You’ll end up with lessons to use right away and the know-how to proceed in the future.
The course fee includes one year of unlimited support.

The 25% discount will bring the full course fee down to $25 (USD) or roughly £21 at the time of publishing.

It will begin on Monday 30 March, with live online meetings on Monday, Wednesday and Friday.

Spain-Gibraltar Border Changes: What the New Agreement Means for Musicians

New arrangements between Gibraltar and Spain will remove routine border checks for people crossing by land. While the agreement does not change existing rights to work in Spain or the EU, any time spent in Gibraltar will count towards musicians’ 90-day allowance for the Schengen area.
