Over 150 MPs, MSPs and Peers have committed to protecting musicians’ right to move freely and easily in the European Union (EU) after Brexit. But this is no time to get complacent.

We need as many decision makers as possible to support the campaign for free movement for musicians post-Brexit.

Ask your political representatives to sign the Musicians' Union (MU) pledge to protect the right of musicians’ to travel freely and easily in the EU.

That could be your Member of Parliament, Member of the Scottish Parliament, Welsh Assembly Member or Member of the Legislative Assembly in Northern Ireland.

It’s easy to do

  • Find out who your political representatives are via Write to Them
  • Email them this link to the pledge
  • Ask them to sign the pledge and contact the Musicians’ Union for more information

Once you’ve asked them, let us know. Find us on Twitter, Facebook, and Instagram. Or you can email Maddy Radcliff (MU Campaigns & Social Media Official) at maddy.radcliff@theMU.org.

If you’ve got five more minutes

  • Sign our petition for free movement via Change.org
  • Are you working in the EU right now? Take a picture where you are and share it on social media using the hashtag #WorkingInTheEU
  • Tell us how Brexit is impacting your work plans for 2019, whether that’s touring, performing, reaching, studying or collaborating on work in Europe. Email maddy.radcliff@theMU.org

Free movement for musicians is just one our five key Brexit issues. Find out more via our Brexit hub.
