Orchestral musician Mike Gerrard shares his most poignant career moment as part of the Musician Behind the Moment campaign.

“My #MUmoment is performing Beethoven’s Eroica Symphony with Heinrich Schiff.

“The audience were ecstatic. I was so overcome I cried.

“I burst in to tears talking to Heinrich afterwards. I’ve never felt so moved or transported by an overwhelming artistic interpretation.”
