Performing artists who are Iranian nationals or individuals of Iranian descent should anticipate delays entering the US.

Delays anticipated especially at land crossings

The MU has learnt that US Customs and Border Protection officers are subjecting Iranian nationals and individuals of Iranian descent to prolonged questioning at US ports of entry.

We have not received reports of detentions or denials of entry.

Performing artists who are Iranian nationals or individuals of Iranian descent should anticipate delays entering the US, especially at land crossings.

Members with concerns are advised to contact their regional office.
