About Ralitsa Naydenova
Ralitsa is a violinist and violist, who grew up in Bulgaria, where she gained her bachelor diploma. Ralitsa continued her higher education at Royal Academy of Music (RAM), London under the guidance of prof Lydia Mordkovitch.
During her masters degree studies at RAM, Ralitsa discovered her passion for the viola. She was awarded with a full scholarship for the duration of three years, and continued with postgraduate studies in performance on viola.
Ralitsa is enjoying a diverse career as a soloist, chamber and orchestra musician, performing classical and contemporary repertoire.
Recently recording of Bartok's Viola Concerto was done along the Bulgarian National Radio Symphony Orchestra under the baton of Rossen Gergov.
She is a violist of the Veles Ensemble. As an orchestra musician, Ralitsa has been a substitute player for the London Philharmonic Orchestra, Trondheim Symphony Orchestra and the Oslo National Opera.
