About the event

This three-day first aid at work course provides the comprehensive set of practical skills needed to become a confident first aider at work.

It will give you both the ability and knowledge to deal with first aid emergencies, including first aid priorities, managing incidents, basic life support, dressings, burns and scalds, heart attacks, and more.

Students are independently examined on the final afternoon of the course. After completing a final assessment successful candidates receive an HSE approved certificate valid for three years.

The course is approved by the Health and Safety Executive and legally compliant with the current Health and Safety (first aid) Regulations 1981. It is organised by Cult Cymru for arts and entertainment union members in Wales.
