About Simon Tittley

Simon Tittley is a guitarist & bassist, singer/songwriter, record producer and music educator. After leaving drama School in 1976 he was trained by BBC staff guitarist ALAN SHUTTLEWORTH at Birmingham Guitar School.

Since then Simon has worked as a musician in Asia, Europe, the USA and the UK. He has written, engineered and produced albums for major and indie labels. He first tasted success in the music industry in 1984, working as a producer and songwriter for WEA International. Based in Bangkok, Thailand, he produced three critically aclaimed albums with top Thai artists.

He was signed to US indie label Apeiron Records in 1991, releasing 'Broken Heart & Shattered Dreams' in late 1993. He played all over the East Coast of the USA, including appearances at the oldest rock club in New York, The Bitter End.

Since returning to the UK in 1994 Simon has taught thousands of guitar & bass students.

He has extensive theatre pit experience playing guitar and bass with MD Rab Hangleigh in around 400 shows at The Courtyard Theatre in Hereford.

Former pupils include Melbourne-based Jazz guitar virtuoso and 13th Hour Records artist LEE JONES and award-winning singer/songwriter JACK HARRIS.

Simon currently performs, writes and produces music with PSYCHEDELIC HEARTS CLUB.

In 2024 he moved to West Sussex where he teaches a wide range of students from complete beginners to aspiring professional guitarists and bassists.
