Drake Music have released a free guide, ‘We All Make Music’ to support the diversification of the music education workforce.

After their research revealed that disabled people are very under-represented in music education, Drake Music put together a resource for music hubs, schools, arts and community organisations to help diversify their workforces today.

The guide aims to support young disabled people in becoming the music leaders of the future.

Drake Music’s ‘We All Make Music’ Guide is available to read online and download for free on their website.

Tribute to Alfred 'Honky' Hall

Alfred 'Honky' Hall, beloved musician, jazz drummer, and percussionist, passed away on 17 August 2024 at his home in Jersey, Channel Islands, aged 102. Alfred was a dedicated member of the MU for 47 years, having joined in 1955.
