About Diego Rodriguez
Based in London, and originally from Colombia, South America. I started playing guitar and bass guitar from a young age, listening to all kinds of music ranging from The Beatles and Red Hot Chili Peppers to Rubén Blades and Silvio Rodríguez. I moved to London in 2009 and went to London College of Music (University Of West London/BIMM) where I earned a BMus in Popular Music Performance with First Class Honours. I've been living and working in London since then.
My background in Music and passion for live and studio performing has led me to consolidate my practice and develop my network in the UK alongside other practitioners, with whom I have established long-working relationships in all aspects of popular music including: Touring, Writing, Recording, Radio & Television and Theatre work. I have collaborated with different artists in the industry including Dionne Warwick, Michael Bublé, James Arthur, All Saints, Josh Groban, Beverley Knight, Lulu, Lauv, Chaka Khan, Marina and the Diamonds, Ella Henderson, Rumer, Nik Kershaw Duke Dumont and Nathan Sykes, amongst others. I have also worked on West End shows like Lazarus and Rip It Up, and I have been part of the house band for TV shows like Comedy Game Night (Comedy Central).
