About Bliss Carmxn
Adam Kaasa is a composer, producer, performer, and interdisciplinary artist. Under the alias Bliss Carmxn, he crafts a distinctive sound that marries alt-pop, folk inflections, and electronic textures—what he often calls “shimmer, edges, and shine.” Based in London but rooted in Canada, Adam’s practice spans recording, live performance, scoring, and collaborative art projects.
As Bliss Carmxn, Adam released the debut EP Hold My Hand And I’ll Hold Yours (2024), which received praise from publications including Clash and Mystic Sons. Early singles — Powder (BBC London premiere) and Call Me By My Name — aligned Bliss with Berlin’s Wicked Hag label and launched a remix network across Europe. Bliss has toured the UK and completed a Canadian tour in 2025, with shows in Edmonton, Calgary, and Toronto. The forthcoming EP Open Love (March 2026), led by Caffeine Orange (Sept 2025), signals a shift toward more folk-inflected and narrative-driven territory.
Beyond Bliss, Adam’s work engages performance, sound design, and interdisciplinary collaboration. He contributed to Moonbound — the artbook project destined for the Moon — and is the composer behind When the Clarion Came to Call, a mythic dance-opera premiering in London in late 2025. His studio and stage work are grounded in research, voice, and the in-between spaces of memory and belonging.
By integrating songwriting, electronic production, composition, and performance, Adam Kaasa / Bliss Carmxn exemplifies the hybrid musician model of today: rooted in craft, adaptive across genres, and actively expanding the possibilities of musical storytelling.
