About Blake Baker

Blake Baker is a soulful singer/songwriter and acoustic musician originally from the Derbyshire/Nottinghamshire border and now based in Hertfordshire. Blake has performed widely in a variety of venues, festivals, and local events.

After performing as a professional musician for several years, Blake has since released his own music. In 2020, Blake released his debut single 'Tea for two', a whimsical and upbeat love song about the exciting beginning stages of a relationship, and about thinking of a future together with someone special, conveyed by heartfelt lyrics.

Blake then followed this up with his smooth and neo-soul inspired second single, 'Sunday Evening', which touches on the universal feeling of the Sunday blues, and trying to stave them away and make relaxed weekends last forever.

Blake's latest single 'The End of The World?' is set to be released early 2023 and focuses on personal and communal factors of great importance, which affect our quality of life and perspective on the modern world. The track combines relfective lyricism with playful experimental melodies to provide a juxtaposition for a challenging subject, and represent the hidden-in-plain-sight nature of personal, environmental, and societal battles.
