About Beth O'Lenahan
Beth has established herself as an independent musician within the UK music scene. She considers Leeds, London and Bristol her musical bases. She now has a growing reputation from her involvement with art grunge Nilufer Yanya, shoegaze house Nabihah Iqbal, heavy electronic jazz Run Logan Run, indie pop Skinny Living, afro fusion TC and the Groove Family and contempory jazz Jemma Freese.
She has toured the UK, Europe and North America and has appeared on The Tonight Show Starring Jimmy Fallon, KEXP, Fender Live Sessions and 3voor12 Radio. Some notable shows have been a UK arena tour supporting Roxy Music including the O2, Glastonbury, Coachella, Brixton Electric, London Pitchfork Festival, Bush Hall New York, BBK Live, Shambala Festival and Way out West.
Since starting her own project- Long Legged Creatures, she has grown a reputation specialising in effects pedals and live electronic music, gaining the attention of Bristol based contemporary jazz duo Run Logan Run, who she has been playing with since November 2021.
Her collaborative compositions with TC and the Groove Family from their debut album First Home - produced by Nubiyan Twist’s Tom Excell- have aired on BBC Radio 1, BBC Radio 6, Jazz FM, NTS, Totally Wired, Worlwide FM, Reform Radio and more.
