For over 25 years, Adrian Wiggins, also known as Sugardog, has been a prominent figure in the world of Latin percussion, performing and teaching a rich variety of styles.
His expertise spans Afro-Brazilian rhythms such as samba, pagode, ijexa, cabila, and candomble, as well as Afro-Cuban styles like salsa and rumba. Beyond these, Adrian's talent extends into diverse genres, collaborating on projects in funk, hip-hop, folk, contemporary dance, and theatre. His deep understanding of these musical traditions, combined with extensive hands-on experience, ensures he delivers exceptional professionalism in every performance and teaching scenario.
Adrian is available for session work and dep gigs, bringing his vibrant energy and nuanced skill to any musical setting.

Has extensive playing experience all over Europe having played with various Latin outfits and solo percussionist with numerous DJs playing to Hip Hop, House, Funky House etc. which he believes has given him a great understanding of sounds and grooves that can or cannot be played on certain tracks, as well as a good sense of timing!
Played and recorded his own music and worked as a session musician on many tracks.
Worked with contemporary dance and theatre companies having composed music for live performance and CD, which has meant many a long hour in the studio.
