CULT Cymru Opens Applications for Coaching and Mentoring Course

Develop your leadership skills with CULT Cymru's coaching and mentoring programme for union members in the creative industries.

CULT Cymru is working in partnership with the Professional Development Centre to deliver a coaching and mentoring course, recognised by the Institute of Leadership.

Open to union members working in the creative industries, the programme is an opportunity to develop your leadership skills by mentoring others in the sector.

What’s expected

Participants must be available for the duration of the course, which takes place over five weeks, as well as complete mentoring work and written work for assessment.

Sessions will take place online (via Zoom) from 10:30am - 1pm, on the below dates:

  • Monday 19 January
  • Monday 26 January
  • Monday 2 February
  • Monday 9 February
  • Monday 23 February

Following the training, all participants will be required to undertake a minimum of six hours of coaching and mentoring (sessions lasting between 45-90 minutes with two different people).

They will then have to submit written self-reflections on these sessions for a final practical assignment by 4 May 2026.

CULT Cymru are running an online briefing session for those interested to find out more about the course, taking place on Tuesday 2 December from 1-2pm. Register your place via Eventbrite.
