About Omar Ríos

Omar Rios is a Nicaraguan guitarist and composer living in London. He started playing the guitar at 11 years old and has played in several countries throughout the 19 years of his career, including Nicaragua, Colombia, Russia, the United States, Belgium, Spain, Costa Rica, Honduras, Switzerland, Germany, Scotland and England.
His music is influenced by flamenco, rock, jazz, fusion and Latin American music.

Omar’s first instrumental solo album “Free Soul” (2021) was recorded in Nicaragua, mixed and mastered in Japan.
He collaborated with pianist Alex Wilson in the London Latin Jazz festival last year and has performed in prestigious venues in London such as: Pizza Express Live, Union Chapel, The Jazz Café, Hampton Court Palace, Aldourie Castle and many others.

He has a Degree in Music as a music educator from (Upoli) Politecnic University from Nicaragua.

He recorded his new Album “Aurora” at “Fish Factory Studios” London and released it in March last year.
