About the event

Mental Health and Stress Risk Assessments (MHRSAs) are required by law and are increasingly a key part of any managers’/team leaders’ "best practice" toolkit to protect workers and prevent psychological stress or injury.

This online training course is for those responsible for creating and/or implementing industry-specific MHRSAs in the creative sector including TV, Film, Theatre, Live Events/Music etc.)

Run by CULT Cymru, this session aims to provide a comprehensive overview of stress and mental health risk assessments and an in-depth, practical guide to creating mental health risk assessments for a production or an event.

By the end of the session participants should be able to:

  • Identify a broad range of stress and mental health risk factors
  • Recognise a range of generic risk assessments
  • Explain the aims of stress and mental health risk assessments
  • Describe the 5 management controls
  • Identify unique factors for the creative sector
  • Create a Mental Health Risk Assessment for a production or event
