About the event

Accessibility is essential to a truly creative industry. Creatives with access requirements and diverse ways of thinking bring powerful perspectives, innovative problem-solving, and fresh approaches to creative work.

Yet many continue to face significant barriers — including inaccessible systems and environments, misunderstanding, stigma, and limited support — that can prevent them from fully participating and thriving.

What to expect

This live Zoom session will feature presentations from Sally Lisk-Lewis, freelance access co-ordinator, and representatives from Hijinx Theatre, followed by an interactive Q&A.

Participants will explore the realities of access in creative work, examine common challenges, discover the benefits of inclusive practice, access practical resources, and discuss how creative environments can be reimagined so everyone has the opportunity to succeed.

How to attend

This session is free to attend for members based in Wales. Please visit the booking link for a full Welsh translation and information about the panellists.
