What does the Music Writers' Advisory Board do?

The Music Writers' Advisory Board discusses a range of topics concerning musicians in the industry. It has compiled guidelines on how much composers, arrangers and copyists should expect to be paid for their work.

The Board is keen to press for equal opportunities and high standards of employment for everyone.

We’re delighted to have a diverse group as the Music Writers’ Advisory Board, with a wide breadth of skills and experience to feed into the MU’s work in the sector.

If you are a MU member who is working as composer or songwriter, and are willing to help us affect change for good, get in touch.
