About the event
Lots of membership organisations have Annual General Meetings (or 'AGM'), and trade unions are no exception. The MU has regional AGMs.
This is your chance to find out what’s going on where you are and have your say on issues that could be affecting you.
You're invited to this year's North of England AGM, a chance to connect with regional staff and fellow members, hear updates on the Union’s regional and national work, and enjoy insights from an industry guest speaker. There will also be time for questions, feedback, and discussion on issues facing musicians in the North of England.
We look forward to seeing you there!
Your AGM, Your MU
Trade unions have power because of their members, and the MU is no exception. Our democratic structures means that everything we say and do has the power of over 36,000 musicians behind it. Our AGMs are a vital part of that - from the issues you raise and discuss to standing for committees, your AGM is your opportunity to use your power.
