MU members based in the North of England are invited to attend our new one-to-one advice surgeries, occurring across the region in 2025.

You may have questions about your career and how best to move forward, a legal query, or even a project which you would like to get up and running but need some initial advice on. Whatever your question, we look forward to meeting you.

The following in-person sessions will take place at MU Fair Play Venues across the region, with more to be announced in the latter half of the year:

To book a 20-minute, one-to-one session please click above, or email noe@themu.org with your location preference and you will be allocated a time to arrive

New North of England Members are also encouraged to attend our online new members events, which provide an induction to the region as well as information on how to get the most out of your MU membership. The online new members events will be held on:

All North of England members are welcome, whether you’ve joined in the last 12 months or been a member for a while and want to refresh your knowledge of the MU’s membership benefits.

Booking links for the events in June, September and November will be made available via our events page in due course. Alternatively, if you would like to confirm a place for any of these now, please contact noe@themu.org.

Please note that this event is run regularly, so if you’ve attended a new member event previously, the content will be the same.

Accessibility

The MU makes every effort to ensure that all events we organise are accessible to everyone who would like to attend. We want to provide equal access to our events for all of our members.

If you have any access requirements you would like us to be aware of, please contact the regional office on 0161 236 1764 or via noe@themu.org, ideally at least one week ahead of the event, to discuss what you need.
