If you’re a composer of classical music, changes to this tariff could affect you and your royalties so it’s important to take a look at the proposal and have your say.

Have your say now!

Why are PRS proposing changes to the tariff?

They say “We need to make sure that over time, tariffs are reviewed to ensure they fairly reflect the value of your music. Tariff LC was last reviewed in 2003, so we feel that it needs updating to make sure that it is fit for purpose and that you are fairly remunerated for the use of your work.”

What changes are PRS proposing and how do you have your say?

There is a dedicated webpage where you can view the proposed changes and provide your feedback. Your feedback will be used to help shape any changes to the tariff.

The deadline for responses is 30 September 2019.

Find out more about the consultation, including when a decision will be made, and have your say now.
