About the National Diversity Awards

Founded in 2012, the concept of the National Diversity Awards arose when Founder, Paul Sesay and his dedicated team identified an urgent need for more positive role models to be actively promoted, with the aim to empower and inspire the wide breadth of diverse communities across the UK.

Recognising over 1,000 shortlisted nominees, with 148 diversity champions and community groups taking away the NDA accolade, the National Diversity Awards has shone a light on the work of some of the UK’s most inspirational diversity champions.

As a result, shortlisted nominees and award winners have received vital increased funding, fundamental collaborations and wider recognition for crucial services.
