The Musicians’ Union (MU) has endorsed Luciana Berger’s candidacy as Liverpool City Region Metro Mayor.

Luciana has worked closely with the MU for a number of years, and has always been a good friend and ally of the Union and its members.

She is someone in whom we have put our trust and we know that she will always respond to requests for help and support.

She has a great passion for the arts and has proved to be a highly effective advocate for culture and for music and musicians.

Labour Party members will be voting on their preferred candidate for Mayor from Monday 11 July 2016. The ballot ends on Friday 5 August.
