Bandcamp’s fundraising day will take place midnight to midnight PDT on Friday 5 June, in the UK this means it will be taking place from 8:00 am on Friday 5 June to 8:00 am on Saturday 6 June.

Musicians with work hosted on Bandcamp may wish to let their fans know that any sales today will generate extra revenue for them.

Many artists are also using this this day to fundraise for various causes, including financial relief for those in the music industry most adversely impacted by the pandemic, and for organisations in support of racial justice and change.

Bandcamp have put together a list of artists and labels who have put out special releases on Friday.

MU member and musician Dos Floris has put together a mass collaboration song, which she is using to raise funds for our Coronavirus Hardship Fund. Everything raised from the song, “All in it Together,” will be donated towards supporting musicians in dire financial need – and you can download it from Bandcamp now.
