Discount on Coaching and Mentoring Training Sessions

MU members can claim a 10% discount on Guildhall School's Coaching and Mentoring training sessions, helping musicians develop their skills as coaches and mentors.

Guildhall School offer a range of coaching training courses from entry level Foundation courses to professional level training, including training for Senior Executives preparing for a transition into the Executive Coaching profession.

They are continuing to teach their courses via Zoom during the Covid-19 pandemic and social distancing, and MU members can sign-up with a 10% discount on all courses.

The school describes how learning coaching and mentoring skills can be of benefit:

“It brings fresh creativity, energy and focus to the wide range of problems we face every day. It offers skills to help bridge the gap between potential and performance using techniques and strategies to enable the development of our ‘best possible selves’ and those of the people we work with.”

Courses on coaching and mentoring skills

Three day core skill programs, split over several half-days, are available. Those who wish can pay an additional fee to apply for the Guildhall Certificate in Coaching (accredited at Foundation Level by the EMCC):

Guildhall School also offers advanced Level training accredited by the EMCC at Practitioner Level.
