Discussing the #FixStreaming campaign and explaining how all creators can help build a strong and sustainable industry through positive change.

The event – which would have originally taken place on 2 June but was removed to observe #TheShowMustBePaused – was held on the 4 June, as part of the Ivors Academy’s regular livestream coffee sessions hosted by Grammy Award winning singer, songwriter and The Ivors Academy committee member Lady V.

Our Deputy General Secretary Naomi Pohl joined the panel, along with Ivors Academy Chair Crispin Hunt, and rapper Shao Dow. They discussed the #FixStreaming campaign and explained how all creators can help build a strong and sustainable industry through positive change.

We live-tweeted through the event, which means that you can read key quotes from the discussion on our twitter feed.

Take action now

We’re calling for a Government review into streaming.

We want greater transparency in where the money goes, and a fairer share of the pie for music creators and performers, so that music creators and performers don't have to rely on hardship funds while major labels boast about record streaming profits.

If you haven’t already, then please sign and share the petition now.
