Free Addiction and Recovery Workshop from Music Support for MU Members

We’re pleased to share that our friends at Music Support are currently offering our members the opportunity to attend their Addiction and Recovery Workshop for free.

This engaging session is suitable for anyone working in any area of music and/or live events who is interested in understanding more about addiction, recovery and feeling more confident about helping others. 

This course is ideal for anyone who has already completed Music Support's Mental Health First Aider (two-day) training, but is also accessible to learners who do not have that prior training or knowledge about mental health. 

Course dates

Courses will be available on the following Tuesday’s, running between 10:00am - 2:00pm:

Landmark Employment Rights Bill Becomes Law

The MU welcomes passage of the Employment Rights Bill, which will now become law. Shaped by trade union input, the legislation represents an important step forward for workers’ rights, equality and protections, with further reforms for freelancers promised in a second phase.
