About Euan Smith
Euan is a Scotland-born, award-nominated composer, musician and educator. Euan has written music for ensembles including the Black Hair ensemble comprised of musicians from the University of York, Piano Circus, and jazz ensemble, Ultrasound. Commissions have included 'The Message,' for orchestral performers; Aine Lambert, Suzy Ruffles, which was performed at Trinity College of Music, London and 'Bliss,' for concert pianist and eMusicMaestro founder, Peter Noke.
Recently, Euan has worked with New Zealand filmmakers, Cinetrance, on two projects; 'Irrevocable,' which was nominated for best score and wild-carded by Sir Peter Jackson and 'Cabin Fever'.
Euan has also worked with London film makers and comedy podcast makers in creating unique jingles and stings. His collaboration with Bristolian songwriter Greg Wood, has led to a release on iTunes called 'Ghost of You'.
