The West of England Music and Arts’ Cultural Education Hub is offering up to 12 grants of £3,000 each, as part of the Creatives in Schools programme.
These grants will support creative and cultural freelancers to develop and deliver workshops or activities in schools and education settings across the region, from April – November 2025.
This is an opportunity to:
- Develop and deliver an exciting new creative activity for schools that will inspire children and young people in the region
- Build your skills and knowledge of working in education settings
- Connect with schools and establish lasting education partnerships
- Receive training and mentoring to support your professional development.
The Education Hub is looking for a diverse range of creatives with experience of working with children and young people, and they’re keen to support a variety of art forms and activities. If you or someone in your network would be interested, find out more and apply below.

Black South West Network – CultureBiz Incubator Programme
Black South West Network (BSWN) have opened applications for their CultureBiz Connect Incubator Programme.
The programme is a six-week funded initiative, running between April and May 2025. It will offer tools, structure, guidance, and insights to support artists and cultural producers with the essentials of their freelance or business practice, including legal knowledge, building a brand and networks, and making the most of grants and access to funding.
It is for Black and Minoritised artists, dancers, writers, performers, and other cultural producers from across the West of England who are looking to access support with their freelance or business practice.
This is an opportunity to:
- Access new skills and learning sessions
- Network with local institutions and colleagues from the sector
- Get 1-1 support and mentoring to assist you in implementing your learning
- Showcase your work to new audiences.
Each artist taking part will receive a grant of £2,500 to cover participation costs, and an additional £2,500 to produce a new piece that will be showcased in September 2025.
