MU to Attend Sound of Belfast Festival

The MU will be attending Sound of Belfast festival, which is running across the city 11-12 November. We will be running an introduction to the MU event, as well as hosting 1-2-1 advice sessions.

Sound of Belfast is an annual celebration of the music of the city. This year, MU Regional Officer for Scotland & Northern Ireland, Louise Stanners Pow, will be in attendance and will be giving an “Introduction to the MU,” talk as well as offering some 1-2-1 advice sessions

An Introduction to the Musicians’ Union – Be Part of Something Bigger

When: Thursday 11 November 7:30 pm - 8.30pm

The MU is urging the Government to drop its original AI proposal after the interim consultation response revealed overwhelming opposition. With only 3% of respondents backing the preferred option, ministers must now deliver robust regulation to protect musicians’ rights.
