MU National Organiser for Education and Health & Wellbeing Chris Walters, spoke to young podcaster Ben Harrison for Music for Youth’s Remix Podcast, and you can listen to the episode here. They discussed why music education matters, what the MU provides for members in terms of health and wellbeing, and why the MU is a big supporter of Music for Youth.

Music for Youth is a national youth arts charity working to provide young people aged 21 and under across the UK with free, life-changing performance and progression opportunities, regardless of background or musical style. It was established in 1970 with a mission to ensure that music, and the chance to participate in high-quality musical activities, are open to every young person.
