Traditionally the event is about bringing music into public spaces for the community to enjoy. This year, with the uncertainty surrounding the COVID-19 pandemic and social gatherings, Make Music Day want you to take performances online and to use the abundance of technology freely available to share the joy of music with the digital community.

You can organise or attend an event with thousands of other music lovers around the world in 125 countries. Whether you’re a seasoned musician, an enthusiastic novice, or someone who simply enjoys dabbling with an instrument, it’s an open invitation to all to make and share music on one day.

To join in with your own live stream events on the day sign up on Make Music Day’s website. If you have any questions please email info@makemusicday.co.uk
