Hosted in partnership with the Wide Days music convention, the Made in Scotland showcase takes place from 14-15 August 2024 at La Belle Angele, Edinburgh.

This opportunity is looking to support artists representing the cutting edge of new music in Scotland that are looking to take the next step in their careers in music.

Perform for a professional industry audience and international visitors to Edinburgh Fringe

Each night, four acts based in Scotland, from across the genre spectrum, will showcase to a public and industry audience.

The event will help participating artists make connections with media and music business professionals, as well as with the international visitors that the Fringe brings to Edinburgh.

The shows will also be listed on the Fringe website and tickets will be available to the public through its box office.

Selected artists will receive grants of £1,000

Successful applicants will receive grants of £1,000 to cover costs relating to their performance including advance briefing, rehearsal, travel, accommodation and the performance itself.

A limited additional budget is available for artists with extra costs arising from childcare or accessibility requirements.

Moreover, acts travelling from outside the Central Belt can request a contribution towards travel and accommodation.

Apply before Friday 21 June

Musicians of all genres are encouraged to apply for this opportunity. The deadline to apply is 5pm on Friday 21 June.
