About Daniel Thornton
Whether you're a budding young rock star just starting out on your musical journey or a keen amateur guitarist I aim to take your playing and love of the instrument to the next level. I personally tailor every lesson to the individual pupil, as all pupils are different, and strive to make each lesson engaging and fun.
If you want a structured learning regime where you work through the grades, I have personally taught the Trinity Rock And Pop grade scheme for the last six years. Alternatively you might have been inspired to pick up the instrument by your favorite artist and just want to learn the songs you love.
All of this is offered from the comfort of your own home, I'm a mobile guitar teacher which means I come to you. Alternatively Zoom lessons are available online.

Enhanced DBS check
Personally hold a distinction level Grade 8 from Trinity College (Rock & Pop)
Experience teaching children with special educational needs
Extensive experience performing music live
BA Hons degree from the University of Huddersfield
Created a database of over 600 songs which I have personally transcribed
I specialize in teaching children but all ages are welcome.
I am proficient in most styles of music and tend to learn towards Rock, Pop, Metal, Blues and Folk.
