I first started playing the drums at the age of 9 taking lessons at school. I loved playing but was bored by the structure and routine of the grades so quickly stopped taking lessons and started playing by ear in bands with my friends. After hitting rut after rut with my playing I was convinced to start taking lessons again and quickly became obsessed with the instrument completing all of the Grades with distinction in under two years. From there I went to music collage a year early and completed my diploma. By the time the next year rolled around I had drop out of college and was working full time as a dep drummer for bands up and down the country.

Nowadays I continue to work as a dep drummer as well as an online and face to face teacher.
I am also involved in social media in a big way having over 40k followers on Instagram and over 10 million combined views.
