About Anita Abram
Anita Abram is a singer songwriter based in Suffolk UK. She started writing songs in 2019 and is currently working on her first EP, which is expected to release in 2023. Anita said, "My desire is to write songs that mean different things to different people because they a sufficiently ambigious." Anita is currently working with musican and producer Pete Moody who works with singers and musicans of all genres to develop their musical ambitions. Anita, Steve and Tim formed a local trio called The Copper Foxes in 2020 where all rehearsals were online. The Foxes started perform original music and covers for local events and charity fundraisers shortly after the lockdown ended. Anita's music coach is Luke Concannon who is best known for the band Nizlopi one of Ed Sheeran's early influences. During 2020 and 2021, Anita began studying with the Female DIY Musican's Home Recording Academy run by Dr Isobel Anderson. Anita commented, "Isobel has been a continued support to me in my home recording journey and being part of a female only musican's community is inspirational." Anita is also a trades union activist, she founded the Music Matters Coalition in 2021, this is a group of six trades unions (including The MU) who want to promote music education for all in Suffolk UK.
