Join for a pound membership

Eligibility criteria

The Join for a Pound offer is only available to you if you're not a full-time or part-time student, and:

You have never been a member of the MU before OR
You were last in membership on our Student rate OR
You have not been in membership for at least 5 years

If you're a full-time or part-time student, please join our student rate, which is only £24.00 for the year so much cheaper.

Here's how it works:

When joining you'll pay £1.00 by card, which pays for the first 6 months of your membership. Then you'll set up a monthly or quarterly Direct Debit for the remaining payments of your annual membership.
Your membership will only become active once your eligibility has been confirmed.
This membership is an annual commitment and is non-refundable.
