About Ffion Haf Brookes

Foxglove Music (previously known as Ffion Davies - Musician/Teacher) is owned by Ffion Davies who is a Violinist and Pianist originally from West Wales, now based in the West Midlands.
She has been playing the violin since the age of seven, the piano since the age of nine and has since started playing the viola. She has achieved Grade 8 (ABRSM) on the violin and is working towards achieving Grade 8 on the piano. She also has achieved Grade 5 (ABRSM) in music theory.
While at secondary school she was the leader of the school orchestra and was a member of the Pembrokeshire Schools County Orchestra. Ffion was also a member of Teifi Chamber Orchestra during her final 2 years at secondary school and where she had the opportunity to work with a more professional orchestra.

Ffion is a BA Music graduate from Bath Spa University where she was a member of the Bath Spa University Orchestra, Choir, Georgian Band, Baroque String Ensemble and Folk Group. While at university she also worked at Music Workshop in Bath as a violin and piano teacher.

Ffion is available for teaching violin, viola, piano, keyboard and music theory in the West Midlands.
