Held by the Liverpool City Region Music Board and Music Futures, the event will take place on Tuesday 11 February at Liverpool’s Arts Bar Baltic.

Explore urgent questions around the use of generative AI

Generative AI is transforming creativity, revolutionising the way we create music, images, text, and more.

But as AI systems generate content that competes with human creativity, urgent questions arise:

  • Who owns the rights to AI-generated content?
  • How can creators protect their works in a world powered by AI training data?
  • What does fair recognition look like for the artists, musicians, and writers whose works fuel these systems?

Shape the future of technology in the arts

The event will include information on the latest policy developments, insights from a range of industry experts, and a chance to network with creators, AI developers and thought leaders.

Speakers will explore AI's impact on creativity, copyright, and creators’ rights, including the UK government’s pivotal consultation on AI and copyright.

The event will also provide an opportunity for your insights to help steer the policies shaping AI and creativity, ensuring that your voice contributes to vital discussions.

How to attend

Although the event is free, places are limited and members are encouraged to reserve their spot via Eventbrite as soon as possible.

Date: Tuesday 11 February 2025
Time: 5:30 pm - 7:30pm
Location: Arts Bar Baltic, 27 Parliament Street, Liverpool L8 5RN
