This year’s event is online, and open to all those interested in issues affecting young workers.

The programme includes:

  • Debates on the impact of Covid-19 on young workers and mental health
  • Keynote speeches from TUC General Secretary Frances O’Grady, Charlotte Nichols MP and more
  • A panel on stopping mass unemployment with MU member Amy Doyley representing the MU’s Young members.

MU members can sign up via the TUC.

Be better represented

This year, MU member Amy Doyley is standing to be Vice Chair of the TUC’s Young Workers Forum, a committee of members from across the movement that drives TUC work in this area and holds the organisation to account.

Amy would be the first Vice Chair in history from the Musicians’ Union – and a vital and urgent voice for freelancers in the trade union movement.

If you have friends and colleagues in other trade unions, please ask them to contact their young workers networks and General Secretaries to vote for Amy Doyley for Vice Chair.
