Applications are now open to solo-artists and bands of any genre and are now extending the opportunity to studio-based creators – songwriters, composers, producers and DJs making original music.

Application deadline: Thursday January 13 2022 at 11:59 pm

Mentoring

Artists will receive two day-long industry workshops with experts covering topics such as collection societies (PRS, PPL and MCPS), social media, music law, preparing for industry events and health. Acts will also have the option of a professional photoshoot and be given bespoke mentoring from a relevant industry expert following the showcase.

Showcase

The six acts selected will be given a 20-minute showcase slot on the Friday evening of Wide Days to perform in front of an industry and public audience. Acts will also receive a high-quality filmed performance video and professional live photos to use beyond the event.

Ongoing Support

All acts will receive ongoing support from the Wide Days team. This will include regular follow up meetings to identify and follow-up on any immediate outcomes from the showcase, and to assist with future planning and industry connections. Wide Days will also proactively seek further international showcase opportunities for all Talent Development Programme artists.

Full details and the application form can be found on the Wide Days website.
