For individuals in Bristol - Wellbeing Champion Training
Bristol Nights has partnered with The Burnt Chef Project to deliver Wellbeing Champion Training, following the success of the Thrive at Night programme.
The Burnt Chef Project are global leaders in mental health and wellbeing support for hospitality.
The new Wellbeing Champion Training aims to help all workers in the night-time sector:
- learn valuable skills, including mental health first aid techniques
- improve confidence to tackle work-related stress
- have courageous conversations with peers who may be struggling

For individuals or organisations in Bristol - Originators Fund
The Originators Fund gives grants of £500 to £5,000 to Bristol-based individuals or organisations to run arts, events and cultural activities that take place between May 2024 and April 2025.
This can be 100% of the funding you need for your project, or you can combine it with other funding you have.
The Originators Fund is one of the three funds that make up Bristol Council’s Cultural Investment Programme. This is the way Bristol City Council distributes public money to support arts and culture across the city.
Application information sessions are being held at M Shed on 13 November, 2:00 pm - 5:00 pm and online 1-1 support sessions with Arts Officers are available from 20 November.

Creative Businesses in South West England - Creative Growth Programme
The Create Growth Programme, delivered in partnership with Watershed, is tailored to meet the unique needs of creative businesses.
Its programme includes eight monthly training sessions delivered by creative industry specialists, seven peer-to-peer group networking sessions and a £2,500 grant to invest in professional sector-specific expertise, such as mentoring, coaching, or consultancy.
Specifically the programme is looking for creative companies based in the West of England that are ready to explore new growth opportunities, such as expanding a business customer base, launching innovative products or services, or venturing into new markets, including international expansion.
The application deadline is Friday 1 December 2023, with the programme starting March 2024.
