There is also other support available, including a broader support programme for cultural and creative businesses and green business grants.

MU members located in the West of England Combined Authority (WECA – Bristol, South Gloucestershire, Bath, and North East Somerset) are urged to apply for the Creative Freelancer and Creative Business grant schemes that are currently open for applications.

Both schemes close on 7 May 2021 and there are grants of £1,000 - £3,000 available for freelancers and £5,000-£10,000 for businesses.

Our understanding is that all applications will be assessed after the closing date, but we would urge members to apply as soon as possible. There is also other support available, including a broader support programme for cultural and creative businesses and green business grants.

More information and the application forms can be found on the West of England Growth Hub’s website and information on the green business grants can be found on the West of England’s Government pages.
