About the event

Feeling overloaded and overwhelmed is a common feeling in the film and TV sectors where freelancing, long working hours and high pressure environments combine to create large amounts of pressure.

Additionally, as the pandemic continues and uncertainty is added to the mix – those feelings of overload and overwhelm can start to dent our resilience, reduce our focus and inhibit creativity.

This session will share a range of evidence based tools and techniques that can be easily adopted into your daily life, supporting you to reclaim your energy, focus and creativity.

By the end of the session you should be able to:

  • Describe how overload and overwhelm is created through daily actions.
  • Identify your own experiences of overload and overwhelm
  • Discern which of your own actions might be contributing to your overload.
  • Explore a series of tools which can help to reduce overload and overwhelm.
  • Create a simple strategy for reducing overwhelm and overload in your own life.
