Special Covid-19 Episodes of Elevate Podcast Released

Elevate Music and Help Musicians have teamed up to create three special episodes of the Elevate Music Podcast, exploring life for musicians during the pandemic.

Released over three weeks, the episodes will look at how musicians have coped with the uncertainty of the crisis and adapted to the changes. There's plenty of advice, support and resources to help music creators stay healthy and creative through the crisis and beyond.   

Episode one features interviews with singer songwriter Nina Nesbitt, and Psychotherapist and BBC 6 Music presenter Nemone Mexatas among others. The second episode features our General Secretary Horace Trubridge as well as MIRI, Lauren Housley, Mike Burgess. And the third episode will be released on Monday 27 July.

The first two Covid-19 specials, as well as the full back catalogue of episodes can be streamed online for free.

The MU Returns to Great Escape Festival 2024

As part of our work with the Council of Music Makers, the MU will be taking part in various panel events during the festival’s industry conference, which is being held 15 - 18 May in Brighton. Some of our Officers will also be available for one-to-ones for any members attending.
