Further Clarification on Welsh Firebreak

We’ve had further clarification from the Welsh Government on recordings, and broadcast and streamed performances being able to continue during the firebreak.

Earlier in the week we reported on the two-week firebreak lockdown in Wales, and how the new restrictions may affect members. The lockdown is due to being from 6:00 pm on Friday 23 October.

We have now received clarity from Welsh Government that during the firebreak:

The use of recording and rehearsal studios can continue, provided it’s for the purpose of work
Venues can continue to be used for broadcasts (whether over internet, radio, or television) without an audience present.
