Earlier in the week we reported on the two-week firebreak lockdown in Wales, and how the new restrictions may affect members. The lockdown is due to being from 6:00 pm on Friday 23 October.

We have now received clarity from Welsh Government that during the firebreak:

  • The use of recording and rehearsal studios can continue, provided it’s for the purpose of work
  • Venues can continue to be used for broadcasts (whether over internet, radio, or television) without an audience present.

See the Welsh Government’s website for further guidance on the Welsh firebreak lockdown.
